The Story Behind the Game

Imagine it is the mid-1980s. Leo Christopherson—the brilliant creator of the cutest TRS-80 games—meets László Mérő and the design team behind the legendary Hungarian puzzle game, XL25, at an international conference. Christopherson receives a complimentary copy of XL25. Inspired, he decides to recreate the logic game using his own iconic figures.

Because he uses three distinct types of his famous characters, he creates a ternary version of XL25.
